The apartment complex, based along Athi River, consists of over 2,000 Units. The project was aimed at development of clean, reliable, sustainable, affordable electricity with the ultimate goal of reduction in consumption of energy; which are all values that go hand in hand with our mission at NABICO.

Taking 10 weeks to complete, the project was commissioned in December 2021, despite the challenges faced with the construction of the Nairobi Expressway.

Our EPC partner sized a 220kW grid tied solar system consisting of 8 No. 27.6kW SolarEdge Inverters and a PV array of 576 Modules of 405Wp each.

The Installation of the 220 kW grid reduced energy consumption by a staggering 35%.
